Christmas in Faversham & Canterbury
Mentioned in the Domesday Book, Faversham is one of England's most
historic market towns nestling between the rolling hills of the North Downs and the North
Kent marshes. The world-famous Cathedral city of Canterbury is just ten miles away. Today we
visit both with coffee and lunch at an historic old pub in Faversham before an afternoon of
shopping and sightseeing in the heart of Canterbury.

A Kentish Christmas
A really Christmassy day out with morning coffee and
lunch included. We tour the wintery landscapes of the Hoo Peninsula, stop at a Dickens church
and spend the afternoon in Rochester. Book from the beginning of November and steal a march on other groups or to visit the Rochester High Street a bit nearer to Christmas.

Lewes & The South Downs
This little gem of a day is ideal for groups in the South East who don’t want to travel too far for
an enjoyable day out with lots of variety and interest. Start with morning coffee & biscuits
included in the tour fee at a pub with
beautiful views across the Sussex South Downs and visit the ancient town of Lewes including a tour
of The Anne of Cleves House.

A Medway Mosaic
Rochester is one of our most delightful small
towns. The old fashioned High Street remains blissfully free of the big brands and there's an
interesting story at every turn. We also explore the little known Hoo Peninsula, stopping off
at the "Great Expectations" Church and enjoying morning coffee and lunch together at a pub
next door to Dickens' house.

Trail
Mad Jack Fuller was an eccentric Georgian squire
who built a series of follies in some of the highest and
most attractive countryside in all of England. On this entertaining and sociable new day out your
group sit together for morning coffee with biscuits and lunch, included in the tour fee, at a pub
with a spectacular view painted by JMW Turner.
