GREAT DAYS OUT FOR GROUPS

Who like to see a lot without

walking too far

City & Village Tours specialise in great days out for groups that include people who cannot walk too far. We offer a wide choice of creative and entertaining itineraries in the company of  a first class Blue Badge guide to provide your group of 35 or more people with a continuous flow of interest throughout a trip that your members will talk about for a long time to come.

And because we handle all the practical details of the day itself it leaves you as the group organiser free to deal with the not inconsiderable matter of organising your members.

Our other innovation for 2010 is the London Supper Club.

Recognising that the vast majority of group organisers who book a half day or evening trip in the Capital with us also book a supper we’ve made life easier by putting the two together with a selection of guided tours that include a

fish & chip or chicken & chip supper for £15.00 per person.

Tour options include a Jack the Ripper walking tour for more active groups or a London the Sinister Side coach tour for groups who like to see a lot without walking too far. In fact on the London the Sinister Side tour the only walking involved is to the bar and back!

Last year our “Credit Crunchers” proved to be very popular. These were day trips including morning coffee and biscuits and a main course lunch. Time after time group organisers told us that in addition to representing great value for money these trips proved to be very popular because their members, especially their single members, liked the reassurance of knowing that the group would be sitting together for morning refreshments and lunch.

For some it takes away the worry about striking out on their own in an unfamiliar place to look for lunch. For others it rules out the lottery of relying on good weather and the availability of a dry bench for a packed lunch. For many it is a very social part of a day out together to look forward to. After all, your group members have signed up for a group outing because they like being part of a group.

So this year we are pleased to offer a selection of day trips which we are calling Together Tours.

These are entertaining days out with a first class Blue Badge Guide where the group sits together for morning coffee or tea with biscuits and a main course lunch for £16.95 per person all in.

You book your own coach and we do the rest.

These itineraries include

destinations in London,

the South East, East Anglia

& the South West and you’ll

find them  peppered throughout

the website and can be identified

by  the Together Tours logo.

Over 90% of our customers are retired so our tour prices are group senior prices. If you’ve any spring chickens in your group who do not qualify for a concessionary entrance fee we have also given an “adult” price.

Prices always include all admissions at group rate, the services of a Blue Badge guide and VAT. Tips are not included and are at the discretion of each group.

Prices do not include coach hire. You book your own coach locally and we do the rest.

One week before your trip we will contact your coach company with the itinerary details for the driver. This will include the name and mobile number of the tour guide and the exact meeting point and time. We will send you a copy of this document so that you, as organiser, your coach driver and our guide are all singing from the same hymn sheet.

We have full tour operator public liability insurance, a copy of which is available for inspection upon request.

We do produce a printed brochure — call us on 0845 812 5000 for a free copy. All the trips in the brochure appear on this website but the website is where you’ll find our full range of itineraries (we can’t fit all of our creative and original itineraries into one brochure without it being the size of the telephone book).

So put the kettle on, make yourself comfy and have a look at what we can offer your group.

We very much look forward to welcoming old and new friends for Great Days Out in 2010 & 2011.

With Best Wishes,
